My Two Oceans Journey

All my life I have been a “sort-of” runner. In other words I have run for a couple of weeks, stopped, started again a few months later, stopped, and so on. Then just after I met Phil he started training for Comrades and I decided to try and take my running more seriously. I joined FFA and trained for the Two Oceans 21km. It was my first 21km and I loved it, and the running bug bit. I had always wanted to do an ultra marathon and finally last year I decided to go for the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon.

Advanced online personalised training programs will be available on this website early in October. You will be able to access personal training program online, or print it out. Programs are detailed with regards to mileage, intensity, type, duration, etc. You will also be subjected to an online accessment that you will be able to do regularly to monitor improvement. You will continually receive feedback and motivation to ensure that you keep on track and progress at a steady pace. Should you experience any setbacks, you will be able to adjust the program in order to get going again once you are ready. After completing each month, you will receive your next program, and be able to track your progress with charts and statistics, and see yourself getting closer to competition day.
